Week 4....already?!?

Well yesterday, Libbie celebrated her 4 week birthday.  She has changed so much!  She loves to grunt, stretch and be walked up and down, and up and down, and up and down the stairs (Thad and I are working on our thunder thighs thanks to her ;).

Grammie (Thad's mom) is here this week.  Yesterday, we got to go to Waco and have lunch with Thad.  If you go to Panera Bread try out the chocolate mint crinkle cookie.  It was compared to a "leprechaun dancing on your tongue." We agreed it was Yummy!!!

We are working on getting in to a sleeping/eating/play time schedule....some days are better than others but we are having so much fun being a little family. She is already working on waiting her turn to speak...sort of.  Here she is sleeping with her hand in the air....we think she might have a question....

Libbie's 2 Week Birthday

Today, Libbie is already 2 weeks old!! It's hard to believe that 2 weeks have gone by....time really does fly!  We've had so much fun figuring things out.  Libbie does a lot of eating, sleeping and pooping and I admit that I love every minute of it!!!
Libbie had her 2 week appointment and she checked out with flying colors.  She is now 7lbs and 12.5 ozs and now 20 1/4 inches.  Dr. Addy said she looked great and her next appointment will be when she turns 2 months.

Grandjan came and spent a few nights with us, which was fun and a great help!!! This afternoon, we even created a mini photo shoot with Libbie.  Please enjoy these pics and see how beautiful she has gotten and how she has changed.

Libbie Michael Lusk's Arrival

On December 30th at 10:54 p.m., Libbie Michael made her debut into this world.  She was 7lbs and 4ozs and 19 inches long.  She was and still is absolutely beautiful and perfect in every way. Thad and I are learning to be parents and enjoying our little family.  We've spent the first week trying to maintain a routine, figuring things out, having dance parties and ohhing and awwing over our little miracle.  I continue to thank God daily for giving us Libbie and pray that we will be the best parents we can be!  God is so good!
